The 19th annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has just taken the world by storm, with a sea of jewels and feathers, and this is your backstage pass to the most luxurious and iconic lingerie show there is.
The event took place on December 2 at London’s Earl’s Court, with models like Karlie Kloss, Shanina Shaik, Stella Maxwell, Behati Prinsloo and Elsa Hosk gliding down the catwalk while they flaunt their super tight and toned limbs.

The highly anticipated event saw artists Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Hozier, who all performed amongst the playful performance of the Angels. Ariana even got a little too close to one of the Angels, getting hit in the head by a fluffy pair of wings worn by Elsa Hosk.

As expected, the show was every bit as big, bold and extravagant as one could hope for. There were six themes in the show: Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveller, Dream Girl, University of Pink, Fairy Tale and Angel Ball. Gold covered Behati Prinsloo was the big show opener, followed in tune by Karlie Kloss and her 18karat gold wings by haute couture designer Serkan Cura.

The coveted Fantasy Bras, worn by the most elite of the Angels, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, were valued at $2 million each and were outrageously glamorous. And of course, the supermodel pair both looked completely flawless in their beautifully exaggerated ensemble of bejewelled lingerie as they strutted down the runway during Ed Sheeran’s performance.

Despite the stress and chaos for all the crew backstage, which was made up of about 25 makeup artists, 25 hair stylists and 9 manicurists, none of the 47 Angels ever seemed to be affected by the havoc surrounding them. In fact, they looked more relaxed and as beautiful as ever, thanks to an incredible 8 hours of hair and makeup.
