Kendall Jenner is not a woman that needs to fight for fame. This current supermodel since the age of twelve spent her life documented on the colossal series Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) that is now on its 10th season. Being born with arguably the most wanted genes in the world today, Kendall was especially blessed with a figure that is perfect for the runway.
Not everyone is a fan of the controversial reality series, but EVERYONE knows the ‘Brady Brunch’ blended family of the Kardashians and Jenners. Teenage girls around the world are following every move of sisters Kylie and Kendall whom began the show at just ten and twelve and now are overtaking older sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney. Between the ‘It Girls’ they share over 58 million followers on Instagram.
With ‘momager’ Kris Jenner managing all siblings careers with enormous success these kids have forever been in the spotlight; attending A list parties and receiving mortgage like endorsements. Kendall though, began her official modelling career at fourteen when Wilhelmina Models signed her in 2009. Her first campaign was the Rocker Babes With a Twist campaign in the US magazine, Forever 21.
With constant success and loyal followers accumulating for Kendall, in 2014 she was given the opportunity to walk in New York Fashion Week for Marc Jacobs, London with Giles Deacon and in Paris for Givenchy. Clearly Kendall had the look of what these worshiped designers wanted and her talent and clear beauty was seen that screamed ‘teen meets elegance’.
Although, during this time rumours began to circulate that fellow models at Fashion week believed that Kendall was given a ‘free-ride’ due to her reality fame. These rumours were quickly shut down though, when her supermodel friends, the likes of Gigi Hadid, expressed the love they had for Kendall.
These days Kendall is breaking out of her shell, outing with social media cliques ranging from Justin Bieber to Taylor Swift, but of course still remaining close to her family, which she often is caught saying ‘means more than anything to me’.
With the recent global reveal of her father Caitlyn Jenner’s (formally Bruce Jenner) gender, the family needs to support one another more than ever, which is clearly apparent with all siblings and former wife Kris’ loving twitter posts and instagram pictures that show their absolute support for their Dad/ former spouse.
This year Kendall’s career focus is for her campaigns with Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder whom she is the face of both iconic brands. The fact that this stunner is still a teenager proves just what kind of successful career that lays ahead.
Since our ‘It Girl’ Kendall has been in the limelight for almost a decade, it means that she has picked up some tips along the way. Kendall has a ‘girl boss’ approach, with two OPI nail polishes both using her name on the brand, the Kendall and Kylie collection, a jewellery collection with Pascal Mouawad’s Glamhouse and a shoe collection with Steve Madden. These exceptional successes put the teen sister’s Kendall and Kylie both in Time magazines most influential teens of 2014.
This chick is as sheik as it gets and has hopped on an unstoppable ride to become a legendary figure of our time. Clearly, we would be wrong not to put Kendall in this edition. Take a look at Kendall’s introduction campaign for Estée Lauder!
