During Beyonce’s headline performance at the Made in America Festival, the star acknowledged UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey’s famous ‘Do-Nothing-B*tch’ catchphrase, sending waves through the industry.
Ronda Rousey is quickly becoming a household name, not only is she ranked number one in Most Dominant Athletes Alive, has numerous world titles under her belt, features in films such as The Expendables 3 and Entourage but now Beyonce has paid tribute to her during a concert in Philadelphia.
Before the artist’s performance of the hit track ‘Diva’, Rousey’s ‘DNB’ speech flooded the speakers.
“I have this one term for the kind of woman that my mother raised me to not be. I call it a ‘do-nothing b*tch’,” Rousey said.
“She’s a b*tch who just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by someone else. That’s why I think it’s hilarious if people say that my body looks masculine, or something like that. I’m just like, ‘Listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f**king millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine.’”
“I think it’s femininely bad-ass as f**k because there’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a purpose. Because, I’m not a do-nothing b*tch.”
Undeniably one of the biggest stars on the planet, being featured at a Beyonce concert is surely a feat that doesn’t go unnoticed. With Rousey’s ‘DNB’ term already selling over 50,000 t-shirts branded with the slogan, the UFC champion is going nowhere but up.
