Vogue Australia has confirmed that Bella Hadid is headed to Australia for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in May. Hadid has been named the face of Misha Collection and will star in the label’s 2017 resort campaign.
Hadid had been making waves in the fashion industry since her debut, following in the footsteps of her International model sister, Gigi. After circulating rumors, Misha Collection has confirmed that Hadid was the perfect person to feature in the campaign.
“Bella was always my number one choice,”
Misha Collection’s creative director Michelle Aznavorian told Vogue. “We chose Bella as the face of Misha as we are launching our new Misha Gold collection which is a more elevated line with a higher price point. We’re getting everything manufactured in Australia and we’re using all Italian, German and Japanese fabrics so we wanted to collaborate with a beautiful face.”
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia has been moved from April to May, to align with the resort collections of international markets. Hadid will join the distinguished list of guests including Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio and modelling legends Jerry Hall and Yasmin Le Bon.
