Buckle up guys, John Wick is back and revenge is on his mind. Set just after the first movie, audiences follow John Wick as he begrudgingly returns to the hitman lifestyle to repay a debt and discovers that a huge bounty has been put out on him. With every agent in New York after him, Wick will go to any means necessary to get his revenge on the one who placed the ‘order’.
Keanu Reeves is back as John Wick, kicking ass and taking names in this masterpiece of a sequel. Director Chad Stahelski is also back to bring John Wick to our screens once more with all the thrilling action sequences and straight up badassery that fans remember from the first John Wick movie.
Surrendering to the elusive criminal underworld of hitmen, audiences are treated to non-stop action, thrilling gunfights, tricks and flips (down staircases no less!) and, as always, explosions.
This movie gets major props in our books because it not only has a badass female (albeit an antagonist) who takes charge and is also deaf, providing some much-needed representation for those hearing impaired. In an action movie no less!
