James Edward Franco is definitely a creative all rounder. Born in 1978 in California, James is an actor, film director, screenwriter, film producer, author, painter and performance artist. His mother is a poet, author and editor, and his younger brother Dave Franco is also an actor. Regardless of his good grades in college, James dropped out to pursue acting and was off to a running start making guest appearances on TV series through the 1990’s.
