Reigning pop princess Charli XCX has unveiled not one, but two new singles following the trap-infused comeback single ‘5 In The Morning’. The tracks entitled ‘Focus’ and ‘No Angel’ are produced in classic XCX fashion, bringing the singers fresh, cyber-sound pop to a whole new level.
The two new tracks follow the classic XCX formula that has enchanted fans since ‘Boom Clap’. Both songs echo the familiar hypnotic, synth pop fantasy XCX is known for. Preaching her lessons on love in her unmistakable British twang, she continues to embrace her signature feminine style and sound. If Princess Peach would have a soundtrack for her Rainbow road paved life, XCX would be the maestro .
XCX is simply spoiling her fans this year. The singer hailing from the UK has received a wave of positive reception after the current release of her ‘Pop 2’ mix-tape, as well as recently collaborating with Rita Ora’s celebrity infused track ‘Girls’ also featuring Cardi B.
Where would any pop princess be without supporting a heartbreak queen? For all Charli’s Australian fans, she’ll be touring alongside Taylor Swift in the national “Reputation” tour, commencing October this year.
