Dior opens its new boutique along one of the world’s most beautiful avenues, the Champs-Élyseés in Paris.
With the current flagship store in Avenue Montaigne under construction, the luxury brand couldn’t leave customers without an alternative store. The new boutique’s architecture is reminiscent of the house’s beloved mansion in Avenue Montaigne – with its giant handmade drape design covering the façade of the new store, it’s hard to miss.
On the inside, there is a staircase that unfolds like a sinuous ribbon upon walk in. With signature features of the interior including, the Napoleon III-style chairs wherein Monsieur Dior seated his guests at his shows and Toile de Jouy – paying tribute to the founding couturier’s first boutique, “Colifichets.”
The scenography of the Champs-Élyseés boutique highlights the latest collections and the different worlds of the House. Ahead of its opening, the Autumn-Winter 2019-2020 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri will be on display in-store.
The boutique will offer women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories, jewellery, perfume, and Dior Maison designs. In addition, it will offer special creations and personalisation services exclusive to the boutique.
The Avenue Montaigne flagship store will reopen its doors in 2020. Meanwhile, the new boutique located at 127 Avenue des Champs-Élyseés will be open.
