Saint Laurent has just released branded luxury condoms and we aren’t surprised.
Although this whole sex but make it fashion concept is nothing new to the fashion world; it seems to be making a comeback a lot sooner than we thought.
Back in 2017, Off-White came out with their “SAFE” condoms and in 2018, Alexander Wang collaborated with Trojan to promote safe sex with the infamous “Protect Your Wang” capsule. Similarly, Vetements has attempted to bring the trend of boujee condoms back this year by using them as their SS20 fashion show invite.
The luxury brands creative director Anthony Vaccarello revealed that they will be releasing condoms through an Instagram post accompanied by a racy campaign dubbed, “The Love Affair.” The campaign, shot by none other than Juergen Teller, features Anja Rubik and a !completely! naked David Alexander Flinn.
There are 5 different packaging designs with Saint Laurent Paris lettering on it and they each cost approximately €5 EUR ($8 AUD). However, it’s only available at the new Parisian concept store, Rive Droite.
The boujee rubbers have put Twitter users into meltdown and here’s how some of them reacted:
