Born Fernando Maria Gimenez-Guervòs Lindez in Madrid Spain, his entrance into the fashion industry came unexpectedly.
Discovered at the age of 17 on Instagram, he was scouted while at school after receiving a call from a manager at UNO models. His first photo shoot was under photographer Gorka Postigo. Though nervous, he pressed through, marking his first steps into the world of fashion.
2018 was a big year for Fernando Lindez. He featured prominently in editorials for El Pais Icon Magazine and Esquire Italia. On the catwalk he donned designs by Daniel W. Fletcher for various shows, and walked for Qasimi. An admirer of nature and lover of the outdoors, he exudes an energetic enthusiasm for his craft.
In the years subsequent, his career has only escalated. In 2019 he walked for Versace, Kenzo, Raf Simons and Dunhill during their Fall/Winter season. His success in those shows saw him return to Versace and Dunhill for their Spring/Summer walk. Additionally, Fernando Lindez booked runways for brands including Prada, Dsquared, Louis Vuitton and Berluti.
But it wasn’t only on the catwalk where Fernado Lindez found acclaim. The dynamic model achieved similar success in print. He appeared in a number of lookbooks and catalogues, including David Delfin’s February issue, and Calvin Klein’s April edition. In Fall of 2019 Fernando Lindez landed the September cover of i-D Magazine, and was featured in an editorial for the publication. A month later in October, he once again appeared on another cover, this time for H magazine. Around the same time, the spirited youth was featured in a vast amount of editorials. These include the October issue for Vogue Espana, the September issue of Vogue Hommes, and the August issue of Love Magazine.
Runway Debuts
Garnering reputable significance within the industry, Fernando Lindez’s career has continued to grow. In 2020 he made his runway debut for Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta. Additionally, he appeared on the cover of Numero Homme Netherlands’ May edition. Attesting to his determination and great work ethic, Fernando Lindez also acquired repeat bookings of renowned brands. Vogue Espana and Esquire Spain featured him in editorials for their publications, and he appeared in an ad for Berluti.
Most recently, he has walked for Balmain and Etro, and was part of the AMI Paris Spring/Summer 2021 campaign.
Currently, the outgoing young model has a following of 234 thousand on Instagram. Aside from his ventures on the runway, Fernando Lindez also pursues a career in acting. Best known for his role as Alejandro Beltran, he appears on the Spanish adaptation of Norwegian series Skam.
Expressing a love and respect for the industry, his goal is to be able to reach new heights in both his modelling and acting professions.
