Soundcloud is primarily used for the distribution of audio tracks. If you think about a social network like Pinterest or Instagram as sharing the world in pictures and videos, then think of SoundCloud as sharing the world in sounds. It’s the best way to discover new artists and follow them to access their latest releases.

The site provides its users with over 135 million tracks from the biggest names and new emerging artists. It’s full of music that you can’t find anywhere else.

Chances are, whatever mainstream music you listen to, it appears first on Soundcloud. Here are five successful rappers who began their careers on SoundCloud… Quickly creating strong enough fanbases to make it to the mainstream.

His breakthrough track, ”Look at me”, was released on Soundcloud in 2015 and the rest is history. His collaboration with Trippie Redd (another Soundcloud rapper) on ”Fuck Love” is, at the time of this article’s publishing, the most streamed song on SoundCloud.

Although he had an early demise, he made a strong contribution to the music scene. His music often helps young people to deal with mental health issues. He also has 36.8 million subscribers on youtube and 20.3 million followers on Instagram – which is a huge milestone itself.
