The meteoric rise of Japanese graphic designer Verdy continues. The artist, most famous for his iconic project Wasted Youth, is the new artistic director of the BLACKPINK “BORN PINK” tour capsule collection.
BLACKPINK is undoubtedly, one of the most phenomenally successful K-pop groups in music history; transforming the worldwide pop landscape since their debut in 2016. The South Korean quartet features Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa – best known for their melodic prowess, impressive choreography, and high-fashion crossovers. Their huge record of hits includes “Whistle,” “Boombayah,” “Kill This Love,” and “How You Like That.”
Along with having the most subscribed artist channel on YouTube, the K-pop girl group has broken new ground by achieving the highest-charting album by a female group in over a decade.
With over 10 billion career Spotify streams to date, they are currently dominating with their latest studio album “BORN PINK”. And since October 2022, the girls have been travelling the world with their second studio album.

Hailing from Osaka, Japan, graphic designer VERDY now makes his home in the Japanese capital of Tokyo. He is most famous for iconic projects Girls Don’t Cry, Wasted Youth, his panda-rabbit character “Vick”, and most recently “Visty”.
VERDY’s resume includes collaborations with brands like Nike, Human Made, Instagram, Levi’s, The Minions, Coachella , Dover Street Market and more. His creative efforts continue to thrive, acquiring him recognition worldwide.
