In this Episode of “80 Days”, Roberts travels around NYC a place he shares a deep personal connection and history with, as it was his home in his mid 20’s, and explores the special things about the place that made it most remarkable to him.

“A city I lived in for many years in my 20’s and have returned to often over that last 3 decades. I guess this is my ‘love letter’ to the people and city of New York. It is also the 77th film “DAY 77″ in my ’80DAYS’ Series.”

The History. The name, “The Big Apple”. The Boroughs. The Skyscrapers. The Empire State Building. The Subway system. The Met. Eataly Little Italy / Chinatown. Virgil Abloh exhibition. The King of NYC – Ralph Lauren. Nightlife capital of the world.

Making an Award winning film is no small feat. Usually it takes a great story, a team of highly skilled artisans. Writers, producers, a great director, editors, actors and usually a pile of money. And even then it takes a decent amount of luck and a lot of dedication for it to realise the promise it had on paper. There are a million things that can derail the project.

The degree of difficulty is amplified many times over when it has ambitions to become a series. But for one person to attempt to all of this solo, is for most experts just insanity. In this new 80 episode solo Round the World Series, Award winning filmmaker and travel lover Paul G Roberts is the writer, director, producer, star, presenter, camera / sound / lighting / drone cam operator.
