Theo James For Hugo Boss Fragrance

British actor Theo James has been announced as the new face of Hugo Boss fragrance, delighting women around the globe with a penchant for hunky stubble and dreamy chocolate eyes.

The collaboration marks the first major spokesperson role for the 30-year-old, who rose to prominence through his role as Four in the teen-friendly Divergent franchise. James will join noted Hugo Boss spokesmen Gerard Butler, Orlando Bloom and Ryan Reynolds, who have all represented the German brand in the past.

James was nothing but complimentary in a press statement regarding the new role:

“I’m honored to be representing Boss Parfums as an Ambassador in their latest perfume campaign. I have for a longtime admired Boss for achieving the perfect balance between the classic and the contemporary. This campaign encapsulates the iconic spirit of the brand and reflects my own tastes and attitudes towards a truly unique fragrance.”

The fall fragrance campaign is due in September this year, and according to Hugo Boss will feature a brand new fragrance for men: presumably one that smells of classic-yet-contemporary style and their trademark German efficiency… which we can only assume holds something of an oaky scent.

For those unwilling to wait until September to see more of Mister James, he’s set to star in upcoming film The Secret Scripture, playing a Catholic priest alongside Rooney Mara and Eric Bana. If that’s not your particular goblet of wine, he’s also due to appear in London Fields, a crime drama co-starring Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
