MICHELLE IVES

Despite only being a recent university graduate, Michelle has been working as a published writer, journalist and photographer for almost a decade. After an internship at her local newspaper when she was 16, where her story was published on the front page in her first week, she developed a hunger for the media industry and has had her sights set on success ever since. After living in London for a year and travel writing/photographing for an airline, Michelle returned to Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Journalism degree at The University of New South Wales, whilst writing for News Local and regularly contributing to various online and print student publications, such as Blitz, Tharunka and OPUS. Michelle is a published author of poetry in two anthology of verses and particularly loves theatrical scripts. Her love for being on-stage was reignited in 2014 when she was cast as Eunice Hubble in NUTS’ A Streetcar Named Desire and undertook the role of PR Manager for one of their major yearly productions. Michelle is a lover of French rap, expensive home furnishings, terrible reality shows and is never averse to a tea break.
