The latest series from Eliška Kyselková is called “Encounters” where she uses a variety of mediums including painting, photography, performance and fashion. Eliška Kyselková, paints on the model’s skin as though it were a canvas and rather than plan and draw intended photographs she allows her models to move and perform with each other, bringing the art to life.
The video for Kyselková’s latest project has appeared on SHOWStudio and her photographic series published on DazedDigital. She was inspired by statues and paintings from a young age. She worked with a number of fashion photography industry names including Katrine Roberts, Beth Eloise Fraser, Emily Howard, Michael Moon, TingTing and Michaela Dvorakova. Illustrator Alina Zamanova was asked to paint the artwork on the models with her original style to create distinctive looks for each model. Moon, further developed their unique looks with hairstyling. Stylist Anya Oderyakova put the original fashion items with each model to create the finishing touches.
Kyselková aims to break the mould for the stereotype look for the typical model and create a more diverse images for women to look up to.
Kyselková has worked for i-D magazine, Wonderland, Elle and Vogue Italia and she has worked in New York, Paris, London, Sevastopol, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
