On Friday Gucci debuted their newest fragrance campaign Gucci Guilty, which features the musician and Academy Award winning actor Jared Leto *swoon* in a bath getting intimate with two models *double swoon*.
The major fashion house shared that the campaign shot by Glen Luchford was shot in the luxurious suites of the Palazzo Polignac located in Venice. A place that as Gucci put it
“[is] a city that in the past allowed its people to transgress society’s norms, its liberated aura still circling its streets today.”
During the shoot eager fashion onlookers could access behind the scenes snapchat videos of the actor and models by private messaging him in the app.
The campaign along with the central image also features a thirty second video showing Leto and the two models ‘getting to know each other’ and liberally spritzing the fashion house’s new fragrance, reminding us what the campaign is about.
The fragrance itself has both a Her and Him scent, but the house has, as it said, broken society’s norms by including scents found traditionally in men’s fragrances within the Her fragrance and scents traditionally in women’s fragrances are found in the His fragrance. This gender liberation and breaking of the glass ceiling is perfectly suited to Leto, as he has consistently shown throughout his career, most notably when he won his Academy Award for acting as a trans woman with AIDS in The Dallas Buyers Club.
So whether you’re a boy, girl or gender fluid, go check out Gucci’s new Gucci Guilty campaign!
