Comme des Garçons Designed Their Own Emojis and they are Adorably Fashionable

Karl Lagerfeld did it, Versace did it and Harper’s Bazaar did it as well — it’s a pretty cute new trend for high fashion brands to launch their own range of emojis to underline brand identity in the 21st century. Now Comme des Garçons followed suit in this new digital trend, debuting its new collection of 24 heart Christmas Holiday emojis as a perfect little gift for the festive season!

Available now via the App Store for only $1.49, these adorably fashionable and festive emojis were created exclusively for iPhone users, and feature the label’s iconic black PLAY heart as both stickers or as a direct iMessage add-on. The heart can be found doing several celebratory activities, such as holding a cake, playing baseball, or while wearing the traditional Santa hat.

The little heart had a funny start, ending up as CdG’s PLAY logo, and was designed by Polish artist Filip Pagowski. “I remember working on something… not connected to anything,” the creative unveiled in an interview with AnOthermag.com. “I got this idea of a red heart with a set of eyes. I drew it instantaneously and the first draft was it. I submitted it for another CdG project, for which it never made it, but eventually it resurfaced; making bigger waves as a logo for the PLAY line.”

Now the little heart has been filled with a variety of emotions to make this year’s festive days even better!
