After getting to know her in a more young, reckless and lost role, the Texan native is now captured in LV’s sophisticated new collection, alongside other fellow actresses, such as Adèle Exarchopoulos, Michelle Williams and Jennifer Connolloy, as well as models Jean Campbell, Natalie Westling and Rianne van Rompaey. The advertisement was shot by no-one else than fashion award-winning photographer Bruce Weber, capturing the luxury collection in front of Paris’ nostalgic scenery.
Entitled “The City of Lights,” the campaign showcases the Seine’s beautiful river banks. Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s art director for women’s collection, wanted to focus on Parisienne character and beauty, as he said in an interview:
Besides the campaign’s sentimental imagery, Bruce Weber shot a 30-second campaign short-movie, leaving his mark by inserting some of his typical black and white shots at the beginning and end of the film.
Louis Vuitton discovered Sasha Lane last year during the film awards season when the brand dressed her in a long-sleeve maxi dress for the red carpet.“I tried on this black Louis Vuitton dress, and (the Vuitton team) said they were going to show it to Nicolas (Ghesquière), and they ended up loving it,” the actress unveiled in an interview for Dazed.
We are thrilled to see what’s up next for the Hollywood actress, and if there might be more future modelling jobs in store for her.
