Vavavoom! the Sydney Mardi Gras once again took over the city on the weekend. Sparkling outfits and bedazzling designs carved out the streets. While members of the gay and lesbian community may often experience adversity, this night was all theirs and the support and enthusiasm of the crowd was inspiring!
We loved the sense of pride and positivity for every aspect of the LGBTQIA+ community. Each float delivered an inspiring and sparkling notion in its 39th year.
The NSW Police and Fire Brigade showed their support!
As did some of the politicians that bothered to turn up (ahem, Malcolm Turnbull).
