Luxurious French fashion label, Chanel, is one of the most highly recognisable and loved brands in the world. Creator of the best-selling perfume of all time, Coco Chanel built her reputation in France as a hat designer, before moving onto clothing and accessories.
Coco Chanel has been credited as the creator of the women’s suit and inventor of the classic little black dress. As a designer, Chanel liberated women from the typical, restraining silhouetted look that was popular during the time and introduced and popularised a more sporty, casual look.
