King Gizzard Are Starting The Weekend Early With Eleven-Minute Psychedelic Drop

Masters of psychedelic rock and all-round weirdness gurus King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard  have dropped a mind-blowing eleven-minute track that’s bound to get your weekend well on its way.

The Aussie lads dropped the track ‘Crumbling Castle’ seemingly out of nowhere, hand-in-hand with a pretty dope video. And if that doesn’t ignite your senses, then cop an eyeful of this heartfelt nonsense that longtime collaborator Jason Galea posted alongside the visual release,

Yeah, right. Someone get that guy a book deal, ASAP.

Forgive my tone-deafness but ‘Crumbling Castle’ sounds a little bit Foals-y with a pinch of Children Collide to my warped ‘buds – but that’s far from an earache. The riff is as catchy as Gilly behind the stumps; ducking and diving between undulating vocals and vivacious snares. And it’s partnered with visuals that put Windows screen savers to shame? Mates, I think I’ve found a new tune to chuck on our FIB Spotify playlist.

Anyhow, forget whatever stimulants and psychedelics you had lined up for this weekend because this eleven-minute escape from reality will do the trick just fine.

Feast all of your senses on ‘Crumbling Castle’ below, and let us know what you think!
