This magical new FIB film Series shines a light on the most innovative hospitality attractions in the post Lockout Sydney scene. The coolest bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs. Where we meet the venue pioneers and operators who have refused to let the NSW State Lawmakers stymy their passion and creativity.

Melding design influences from Southern Spain and North Africa, the Casba on Danks St in Waterloo is a bold architectural statement designed to intrigue and invoke discovery. A mixed-use development including restaurant, designer showrooms and residential space on Danks Street, Waterloo. Like much of this area of Sydney, the site w&s once occupied by old warehouses, that were demolished making way for the award-winning Casba.

At courtyard and street level, a vibrant retail, and range of food a beverage operations create a lively community ambiance. The elegant inner Courtyard with its soaring palms and reflecting pool provides a dramatic hint of a Game of Thrones-esque Dornish Waterpalace.

But today our focus is on what could be Sydneyʼs newest and best Vegan restaurant ‘Paperbark’.
