With Avengers and Game of Thrones ruling entertainment news at the moment, it is easy to forget all the other news swirling around the webosphere. Big Little Lies Trailer Drops!

Season one was an absolute hit and with Meryl Streep signed on for season two, world domination is simply expected at this point. After the events of last season, Monterey will never be the same. Murder, vengeance and lies are all on the menu for this sumptuously wicked group of Hollywood heavy-weights, as they navigate the aftermath of last season’s shocking revelations. Will there be another murder? Will it be at the hands of Streep? Is our last murder victim really dead? All these questions will be answered in June, as the series premieres on HBO.

Birds of Prey Wraps Filming!

We can all collectively thank Margot Robbie this week, for her aesthetically pleasing Instagram post, confirming the completion of Birds of Prey production. Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) starring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell, has officially wrapped, leaving fans with nothing more than a 20-second teaser to tie us over until next year. Prepare yourself for some bad-ass lady power, as Harley Quinn, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya band together to kick butt and take names.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge Signed on for Bond 25 Script!

The sharp-witted and fiercely clever mind behind Fleabag and Killing Eve, is set to offer some rewrites to the latest Bond film script, adding some signature quirk and some imperative wit to the spy-thriller. Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been on the up and up, and does not appear to be slowing down any time soon. A series of films famously known for its masculine energy, is now taking on a much-needed feminine look over, with Waller-Bridge at the helm.

Let’s Not Forget the Music Scene…

With Coachella wrapping up its first weekend, women have been setting records and making money moves all over the place. Blackpink became the first female k-pop groups to perform at the festival, Ariana Grande is now the youngest ever headliner to perform and Lizzo managed to deliver a knock-out performance, even after the music cut out, in the middle of her performance.
