FIB in association with it’s film division is soon to release it’s latest feature length documentary.
“Two weeks ago, on Wednesday, the NSW Government called the NSW festival industry into a room and it handed them a death sentence,” said Cr Jess Scully.
The sequel to the renowned After the Lockouts documentary film explores the current threat that the Liberal NSW government poses to Sydney’s live music and festival scene.
In our first film we learnt how ineffective the LOCKOUT LAWS has been on keeping Sydney safe from random violence, and just ow damaging the effects were on Sydney’s night-culture and once thriving nighttime economy.
We also investigated the way other world cities had successfully kept their nightlife both vibrant and safe without Lockouts and offered up these ideas as part of a solution.
Sadly, not only are the lockouts still in place, but the newly re-installed NSW Government has decided to target music festivals as the next vital aspect of our culture to destroy with more crazy ill conceived laws.
