Pharrell Williams and Adidas back women with a new campaign titled “Now Is Her Time.”
The ‘Now Is Her Time’ campaign, shot by artist and fashion photographer, Collier Schorr is all about female empowerment and the championing of women’s rights.
It features a diverse group of powerful women and those who support them, including Syd, Patrisse Cullors, Sana Azim, Sara Cummings, Kadija Diawara, Nadya Okamoto, Reggie Yates, Iddris Sandu, Keala Naihe, Tyra Mitchell, Sheena Cain, Sophia Parker, and Isabela Rangel Grutman.
‘Now Is Her Time’ is set to serve us unisex apparel and footwear for adults, juniors, kids, and infants. Furthermore, the collection will feature four new colourways – “Solar Yellow”, “Cream White”, “Hyper Pop” and “Utility Black” for staple sneakers including Solar HU, NMD, BYW, and the Adilette.
The campaign video showcases the essence of women in their raw, natural state. It begins with a quote from Pharrell that reads:
“History was her time. Now is her time. The future is her time,” transitioning to voiceovers speaking out on empowerment and equality playing over clips of each individual.
The video then concludes with a reiteration of, “Now is her time.”
The collection officially drops on August 31 at Adidas, Foot Locker and select retailers in-store and online.
