With fashion month so close we can almost see fabulous fabrics and smell the thirst for industry validation, we look to one of fashion’s most iconic characters for inspiration.

I’m talking about Fran Drescher, ladies and gentlemen. Otherwise known as Nanny Fine, the lady that inspired the wardrobes of millions thus cementing her position as the ultimate 90s fashion icon.

Fran’s quick-witted and sassy nature made audiences fall in love with her instantly, her trademark being her distinctive voice and ultra-voluminous hairdo’s. Her character on the hit series, The Nanny which was produced and created by Drescher, gave Nanny Fine some looks to be envied thanks to the costume designer, Brenda Cooper.

How a nanny is able to afford labels like Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Thierry Mugler, Versace, and Dolce and Gabbana, we’ll never know.

Fran’s looks are still mesmerising and inspiring us today, so I’ve compiled a list of all her most gorgeous outfits from the show ahead of fashion month.

Take a look at the flashing girl from flushing with all her iconic style moments down below.
Ps. She’s the lady in red when everybody else is wearing tan.
