After first rising to prominence through the hugely popular Queer Eye reboot, Antoni’s amassed a large social media following and now he’s using it to help others in quarantine make amazing food.
Antoni Porowski new a series “Quar Eye: Cooking Lessons in Quarantine” shows the chef prepare nutritious meals using simple ingredients that have not been the target of panic buying and are thus readily available in grocery stores. All on his personal Instagram page.
The series so far has 17 episodes and has seen Antoni prepare everything from omelettes to sloppy joes. In the first video published on March 16 he said:
“As I was walking through I realized there were so many ingredients that weren’t there. And I know that’s something that everyone is experiencing … we’re stuck at home so we might as well still be able to prepare good food that’s good for us and that makes us feel good.”
My favourite episode so far has been “EP#14: Farro-Way from Others Bowl”. Don’t you just love a food pun? The Farro Bowl recipe includes Farro, chicken & sweet potato cubes and tastes amazing.
This Instagram series has everything, amazing food, easy to follow recipes and Antoni himself with his good looks and smouldering stare, could you ask for anything better. My quarantine just got a whole lot better.
Continuing to steal our hearts one food and thirst-pic at a time, others and I will definitely be tuning in to see what he makes next.
