Two years after his Grammy Award-winning album Igor, Tyler, The Creator has released his new album, Call Me if You Get Lost, on the 25th of June. Rumours of the album first arose when fans started noticing billboards featuring a phone number and the phrase “CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST” in L.A. and major cities worldwide. One of them was spotted by fans in Parramatta, Sydney.

Fans who called the number heard a voicemail conversation between Tyler and his mother over an instrumental teaser of his new music. However, NME has reported that fans who called the number recently have been treated to a different preview. He sings:

What’s your number? / I just hope to God you saved my number / Call me when you can”.

Tyler then took to his personal Twitter where he uploaded an album teaser titled Side Street. He then released the music video for his new single Lumberjack, being credited as the director under his alias Wolf Haley.

The artist then officially confirmed the Call Me If You Get Lost album with the release of the cover artwork and website of the same name. Merchandise on the website has quickly sold out, however, following the album’s announcement.

Additionally, Tyler, The Creator recently commemorated the 10-year anniversary of his debut album Goblin. He will also be headlining the Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo Music Festivals. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, they will be some of the first music festivals to be held in the U.S.
