After her acting debut success in Squid Game, Jung Ho Yeon is Louis Vuitton’s New Global Maison Ambassador.
Following her debut role as Kang Sae Byeok (Player 67) in the extremely popular drama Squid Game, Jung Ho Yeon is set to be Louis Vuitton’s newest Maison ambassador. While having already been involved with Louis Vuitton after first modelling in their S/S 2017 show, this is her first role as ambassador.
In a press release, she stated:
“It is an honour to start my acting career with Louis Vuitton, the brand I have modelled for. I look forward to all the moments with Louis Vuitton as a global ambassador.”

LV’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, also expressed his excitement for Jung’s involvement with the fashion brand. “I immediately fell in love with Ho Yeon’s great talent and fantastic personality, and I am looking forward to starting this new chapter of the journey we started at Louis Vuitton a few years ago”.
Jung is a runway regular. She has modelled for Fendi, Chanel Haute Couture, Prabal Gurung, Bottega Venetta, and other high luxury brands. She has also walked for New York Fashion Week and been featured on Vogue‘s YouTube channel with a “Beauty Secrets” vlog.
While her acting career is newly founded, with Squid Game being her first role, she told Teen Vogue about how she hopes to be able to find a balance between her two roles.
“I hope I can do both but, physically, I think if I got a role or a new series came in, then I’d have to focus on the shooting. At that moment, I don’t think I can do modelling at the same time as acting, but, if I don’t have a time [where I need to be shooting], then I could do modelling. I could manage. I’m a very flexible person!”
