Timberland has introduced its first-ever rental collection in collaboration with UK-based platform HURR, as the fashion industry strives to promote more conscientious purchasing.

HURR is a clothes rental platform that was founded in 2017. It has the goal of disrupting fast-fashion industry norms and promoting a new, more sustainable way of life. The website not only collaborates with brands and shops to share their products, but it also allows those who own luxury items to monetise them and renters to wear them for a fraction of the retail price.

In collaboration with Timberland, the two brands have released the latter’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection as their latest rental product, marking the brand’s first step into the ever-growing sector.

The line includes outerwear in red, grey, black, and khaki, with four-day rentals on the HURR website from November 3.

Palace x Vans

Palace collaborates with Vans on a collection of Sk8-Hi sneakers, drawing inspiration from mushrooms for this latest release. The OG silhouette receives a fungi-themed update for the duo’s second collaboration.

The kicks come in three colourways: “Black/Blue,” “Marshmallow,” and “Yellow”. They have mushroom designs covering the upper.

The shoes feature Vans’ famous Sidestripe in white, as well as solid black and white panels on the heel, toe box, and lacing system, to contrast the eye-catching design. Co-branding on the tongue and embroidered shroom designs on the back complete the look.

The “Shroom” Sk8-Hi collection launches online and in-store on November 5. Japan and China receive a later release date of November 6 at 11 a.m. local time.

Chanel Beauty releases a limited-edition fragrance and makeup collection, just in time for the festive season. The collection pays homage to the renowned N°5, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year.

Chanel spent 2021 commemorating the 100th anniversary of Chanel No. 5, its signature fragrance. From video projects to a limited-edition collection and even an interactive pop-up shop at Selfridges, there’s been something for everyone.

It’s only fitting that the brand celebrates the end of the year with a No.5-themed advent calendar (dubbed No.5 The Calendar) packed with some of the brand’s most coveted items.

The collection includes 27 mini boxes, numbered 5 to 31, including some of Chanel’s most popular beauty products, such as lipsticks and nail lacquers. For the first time, the N°5 comes in a recyclable glass bottle, together with a redesigned box made from sustainable paper pulp. Golden tones are used in eyeshadow colours, which compliment the bright red lip and nail shades.

The advent calendar is available from November 1.
