THE ALBUM
This new album features many of todays most trending musical artists. Features include, Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Fleet Foxes, Gunna and of course Roddy Ricch.
According to Pitchfork, this latest album is slightly less vulgar and intense compared to his earlier work.
Could this be a reflection of his new father figure role? Is the singer/rapper on the road to redemption as he grows and develops as a mature contributor to the musical industry?
It has been said that even though many of his tracks are still reflective of sadness and sorrow. As well as, life struggles and metaphors for past hardships. Triumph seems to be seeping into his latest work. The singer/rapper is projecting his accomplishments and happiness through his fresh new vocals.
Malone has a talent of saying it exactly how it is. His new tracks are a strong reflection of this. He has been known for his straightforward, if not colourful, choice of language.
The album has currently hit No.2 on the Billboard 200, since it’s release on June 3rd.
On a fun and retro note, Malone plans to release a cassette and vinyl edition of the album in February 2023. This will certainly be a trip down memory lane for many of his fans. Here’s hoping some of the younger generations will learn a thing or two as well!
