Natasha Lyonne, actor and co-creator of “Russian Doll”, is gearing up to host this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The Hollywood alum appears in classic films and TV shows such as the LGBTQ hit “But I’m A Cheerleader” and the bitingly funny comedy “Portlandia”. Lyonne is hosting next Monday’s awards in Partnership with Amazon Fashion.
Natasha Lyonne is not only an actor; she is also a long-time fashion industry friend. You may even remember her appearance in Miu Miu’s short film, “House Comes With A Bird”.
“In addition to being a greatly gifted actor, writer, producer, and director, Natasha is a native New Yorker who plays a pivotal role in the culture of New York and its artistry,”
CFDA CEO Steven Kolb states in a press release. “We love Natasha’s irreverent style and wit and are so excited that she agreed to host the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards.”
Lyonne is hosting the night alongside co-hosts Joseph Altuzarra, Gabriela Hearst, Aurora James, Lazaro Hernandez, and Jack McCollough. Bradley Cooper, Kerry Washington, Amy Schumer, Christina Ricci, Bella Hadid, and Trevor Noah are also making guest presenter appearances. Christina Ricci presents the award for American Womenswear Designer of the Year.
Trevor Noah presents the American Menswear Designer of the Year award, and Joel Kim Booster is presenting the American Accessory Designer of the Year award. Keke Palmer is revealing the winner of the American Emerging Designer of the Year; and Lenny Kravitz Lenny Kravitz is receiving this year’s Fashion Icon award from Bradley Cooper.
