Milan Fashion Week A/W 2023 packed a punch this year, spanning over a week of celebrations and 50+ presentations. Amongst them, are some of the most highly anticipated moments in modern fashion history; including Gucci’s interim runway since the departure of former creative director, Alessandro Michele.

Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2023 (21-27 February) showcases an extraordinary mix of new and old trends; from fashion titans to young stars.

“This season, once again, we offer a rich programme of activities that confirm Milan’s leading role in the global fashion scene,”

says Carlo Capasa, Head of the Camera Nazionale della Fashion Italiana. She adds that,

“2023 presents itself as a year characterised by a series of complexities that our industry [will] be able to transform into opportunities for growth and change. I believe that Milano Fashion Week will be able to best amplify the positive energy of our great brands.”

What is the General Mood of Milan AW/23?

Sexy. Especially from Gucci, with its seductive ’90s and Y2K-heavy interim collection (sans former creative director Alessandro Michele).
