THE FUTURE OF FASHION IS HERE: AI FASHION WEEK 2023

Inside the venue, 24 screens displayed around 50 AI-generated runway collections. The digital designs were a sight to behold. How does it work?

The competition, consists of two rounds of voting. The first round of voting was open to the public and took place online from April 20 to April 21. The competition received a tremendous response from fashion enthusiasts worldwide, with thousands of votes cast for the participating designers. Reportedly, over four thousand people have registered on the website to view and vote for qualifying collections. The top ten finalists from the first round moved on to the second round of voting, which closed on May 5th. In the second round, a panel of esteemed judges select the three winners from the ten finalists. The panel consisted of industry experts, including Tiffany Godoy, Vogue Japan’s head of editorial content; Natalie Hazzout, Celine’s head of men’s casting; Erika Wykes-Sneyd, VP of Adidas’s Three Stripes Studio; Matthew Drinkwater, head of the London College of Fashion’s Fashion Innovation Agency, and Michael Mente, Revolve CEO and co-founder.

The top three will then enter the first AI Fashion Incubator created by Maison Meta and Revolve Group. This program will provide the winners with an opportunity to bring their designs to life and take them to the next level. The winners will receive support from Maison Meta and Revolve Group in various areas, including production, marketing, and distribution.

Without a doubt, the most exciting part of this competition is that the winners’ physical garments will be available for purchase in real life at Revolve! Their creations will not only exist in the digital world but also be wearable by fashion lovers around the globe.
