As a part of the collaboration, the brands are about to drop two special edition t-shirts. A sneak peek into the collection shows classic motifs from both the brands. The tee uses UNDERCOVER’s classic gothic bear motif and Givenchy’s 4G logo covering its body. The piece comes with UNDERCOVER and Givenchy logos at the bottom. The price is ¥121,000 (around 1300 AUD each), and the tee is available in both black and white. It’s unclear whether this remains a mini collaboration or is a start to a theme for a larger series.

Writing about the collaboration, Matthew M Williams shares how Jun Takahashi has been a major source of inspiration in his life and his work was a driving force to start his journey in fashion. Matthew adds,

” I am grateful and it is a honor to be welcomed to Tokyo by Undercover and Jun with this symbolic collaboration of friendship. Thank you Jun for making a generation dream ????????”

The collaboration is exclusively available from August 26 at GIVENCHY’S new space at GINZA SIX, Tokyo. It opens its doors at 10:30 am JST.
