DAY 22 “WHERE TO EAT, SLEEP, & SHOP IN ROME” ’80DAYS’ Series with Paul G Roberts

It’s Day 22 and Roberts is exploring his Rome. In ‘MY ROME’ film I’m going to share some of own personal favourite things in Rome. My favourite luxury hotels to stay in, a few of my favourite trattoria’s and places to eat, and a couple of standout budget Hotels that are also fabulous value, and some of the hidden attractions that are not on the regular Tourist maps.

I have been visiting Rome for the last 3 decades, and it never gets old. Pardon my pun. The entire centre is like a giant outdoor museum / gallery. Rome was really the world’s first cradle of civilisation, well maybe the second taking out Athens Greece. Still so rich and relevant today as it was 3,000 years ago.

Rome may be an ancient city, but its hotel scene is as up-to-date as befits the capital of Italy. The city’s options span an eclectic mix of design, glamour, and all-out Italian inspiration:

Rome has great options whether it’s a high-minded hostel that’s halfway to being a hotel, the opportunity to bed down in a former monastery, a couple of private penthouse residences with discreet, as-you-please service, and plenty of blow-out luxury abodes, from art-filled villas to sleek new brand-names.

This odyssey, was crafted in the shadow of Jules Verne’s immortal prose ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, but more than a nod to literary genius—it is an homage to the insatiable human thirst for discovery. A thirst some poetically inclined termed ‘Wanderlust’.

In my grand narrative of no less than 80 episodes, the world unfolds as a tapestry of cultures and wonders, we are reminded that the true wealth of life is not in the jingle of coins or the accolades of society. It is in the bonds we forge, the love that we kindle amidst the whirlwind of our pursuits.

Thanks for watching! See you in the next adventure! ✈️????

To those who would call my quest a folly, I say: life’s tapestry is woven with threads of experiences, not the gold of coins. For travel is the grand tutor of life’s lessons, unfurling the scrolls of the world before our eager eyes. And as I often say, a solitary day ablaze with adventure can outshine years of monochrome routine.

This, my friends, is the essence of my ‘80DAYS’—not merely a series of films, but a celebration of life in its most vivid form.

I will be releasing 2 new film episodes each week. There is so much more to follow. Subscribe to “YouTube FashionIndustryBroadcast” so you will not miss being notified of each drop. And if you feel it LIKE and COMMENT too.

Humbly yours in Wanderlust,

Paul G Roberts
