Pink Floyd originally consisted of Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, and Syd Barrett. Barrett was respectfully replaced in late 1967 by David Gilmour after Barrett’s struggle with mental illness made it impossible for him to continue with the band.
The band has released a plethora of critically acclaimed albums including The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, A Saucerful Of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.
