The British brand of Coco de Mer was created by Sam Roddick in 2001 as a place for women to find a combination of things that are sensual, fashionable and erotic. She found that there was a gap in the market after she couldn’t find what she was seeking.
After selling the company to sex shop Lovehoney, Lucy Litwack was appointed as managing director. She decided the company deserved a much needed re-haul and launched a range of decadent lingerie in 2015.
The luxurious lingerie brand is now sold at Selfridges, matches.com and Harrods. Coco de Mer collaborated with EL James in 2016 and designed an exclusive line of lingerie for the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy.
