Planet Earth’s going to be in trouble from an outside invading source again, Big Surprise. Have no fear, though, a new age of insanely good-looking heroes… and Flash, are coming together to defend mankind in the form of The Justice League.Â
The movie is the result of the brains and blood of the team that brought us Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. Naturally, fans are a bit concerned. The film has pulled in some big names with Ben Affleck reprising the role of  Bruce Wayne / Batman, Gal Gadot will wear the armor of Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa reappears as Aqua man after his brief cameo in Batman v Superman, and Ezra Miller and  Ray Fisher are debuting in their roles as Flash and Cyborg. There is also a blink and you might miss it glimpse of Mera, wife of Aquaman played by Amber Heard.
After the first trailer was released at comic con last year, fans of the superhero series have been starving for new scraps of information. The new trailer highlight’s the gaping hole in the shape of a certain Man of Steel. Though the end Batman vs Superman did depict the demise of one of our favourite earth residing aliens, it’s no spoiler that Superman is part of the Justice League and we can’t wait for his resurrection in this film.Henry Cavill is slated to appear in the film, however, the length of Superman’s role is still under wraps.
The film is intended to be the fifth installment in the DC extended universe. The new trailer introduces the baddies that the team is going up against this time. Super villain Darkseid and his general Steppenwolf seem like a force to reckon with, along with their minions, the Parademons. You might remember the pesky foot soldiers as the same ones that attacked Batman in his Knightmare sequence in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The trailer does have its share of light moments and increases anticipation of the Batman and Aquaman equation and interactions between the two. There’s still a bit of a wait for the new Superheros to hit screens. Justice League is slated for release on November 17 this year. Here’s the latest trailer to whet your appetite.
