Grammy award winning artist Lorde dropped off the music scene for a while, but now she’s back and set to release a new album!
Not having released a single or album since 2014 when she released the single “Yellow Flicker Beat” for the Hunger Games Mockingjay – pt.1 soundtrack, Lorde is back on the music scene.
With her new album ‘Melodrama’ set to release on the 16th of June the mistress of pop has resurfaced, performing at Coachella this year.
Lorde debuted three of her new songs ‘Liability’, ‘Homemade Dynamite’ and a tease of her song ‘Green Lights’ during her sets at the festival.
The 20-year-old has revealed that she has partnered with Nova and Optus in Australia to hold a one night exclusive performance in the Nova Red Room on the 6th of July, where she’ll debut Melodrama for Australian audiences.
Lorde’s Nova Red Room exclusive concert announcement was met with great anticipation, to almost hysteria in response to the money-can’t-buy experience.This performance is to generate interest in her new album and we have to say, it has worked, with Nova Red Room performances being notoriously exclusive, fans across Sydney have jumped on the chance to win tickets.
This will be the first time Lorde has performed in Australia since her 2014 ‘Pure Heroine’ tour.
