Perry grew up singing in the choir of her parent’s church before moving to California to change her sound and become the Katy Perry the world knows and loves.
She was named Billboard’s Women on the Year in 2012 after the success of her first three albums. Best known for her songs ‘I Kissed A Girl’, ‘Firework’ and ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’, Perry was declared the Top Certified Digital Artist Ever.
Her new album, still unnamed, is to be released later this year.
