Annie Leibovitz is an American portrait photographer. In 1970, she started working for the just-launched Rolling Stone magazine, later being named the chief photographer in 1973. Leibovitz worked for the magazine until 1983, and her intimate photographs of celebrities helped define the look of the magazine.
