Actress and singer Teyana Taylor, who previously graced Playboy and Kanye’s music video, stars in luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur’s raunchy Autumn/Winter campaign.
The campaign, titled “The Power of Provocateur”, was created to empower females everywhere to be fearless in every aspect of their lives.
Currently accessible on the Agent Provocateur website, the collection was released with the accompanying words:
The fearless modern woman celebrates her own outer strength and inner confidence. Teyana Taylor represents today’s new superhero: vivacious in spirit, fierce in femininity and proud to be powerful, in every move she makes. Stand tall and be proud of your femininity.
Accessorised in body chains and donning a yellow bra and thong set, Taylor dances to Exile’s 1978 hit song, “Kiss You All Over”. Taylor told British Vogue: “The brand came to me in search of a strong talent, one who could not only be the face of the campaign, but also be involved in creating a new approach to female empowerment.” The actress/singer clearly felt that this campaign was the perfect “opportunity for [her] to represent different types of women in regards to lingerie.”
Taylor, who showed off her moves recently in Kanye West’s ‘Fade’ music video, wasn’t given any choreography for the campaign video. Instead, she free-styled her way through the video shoot. She revealed, “‘It is hard to explain it but it’s all about chemistry and feelings. As soon as the music pumps in my ears, my body just goes with the flow.” Take a look for yourself!
The images for the campaign, taken by Charlotte Wells, are just as stunning as the video. Following in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Kylie Minogue, Taylor has made this campaign her own and we are obsessed.
