The former One Direction singer, Dunkirk actor, Gucci debonair, and romantic crooner continues to dazzle fans around the world. In promoting his second album Fine Line, Styles has just announced that he is bringing his Love On Tour to Australia in November and December.
In recent events Harry Styles was mugged last month on Valentine’s Day in his Hampstead, London neighborhood while walking home from a friend’s house. But Styles is putting all that ill-valentine mugging episode all behind him and setting his eyes on the horizon in preparing for his world tour.
While his 2017 debut album Harry Styles showed a break away from his One Direction days, the album personally showed Styles’ love for 60s/70s classic rock and romantic ballads.
In Fine Lines Styles isn’t holding back with singing about topics such as addictive personality, former relationships, sex, anxiety and sadness. Styles continues to further his rock sound with confessional lyricism but with a blend of psychedelia and a club dance feel. In a way, the album’s hit singles, ‘Watermelon Sugar High,’ ‘Adore You,’ ‘Falling,’ and ‘Lights Up’ are modernising the pop/rock genre in this new decade.
In supporting the Australian leg of the tour will be rising UK star Mable who came into prominence with her song ‘Finders Keepers’ which peaked at no.8 on the UK singles chart.
First stop will be Sydney, and a quick side detour to Auckland, New Zealand and then back to Australian shores in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. These will be Styles’ first arena shows since his massive 2018 Australian tour.
Tickets for all shows go on sale at 2pm Friday, March 20. For tour, ticket and VIP Experience information, you can visit hstyles.co.uk and livenation.com.au.
