“SUPERMODEL DOUBLE TROUBLE” – STENMARK TWINS

A unique modelling duo, Jordan and Zac Stenmark’s rise to the top of the modelling world seems like something out of a novel…

Born and raised in Sydney Australia, 28 year old identical twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark were two small-time Australian Football League players working in a cafe in Western Sydney when a barista friend of theirs told them they should try modelling. They were then famously discovered by Tom Ford and had their fist big break with a 60 page editorial for L’Officiel Hommes, Paris.  “He (Tom Ford) walked right up to us and knew the differences between us immediately.” The two told News Australia,  “He said we had to start doing this full-time.” They then made headlines as the openers and closers of Calvin Klein’s Spring 2013 Show. Their star did not stop rising there however, since then they have appeared in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch and Ralph Lauren. They have also appeared in editorials for GQ, Vanity Fair, Vougue Hommes, sitting for famous fashion photographers Bruce Webber, Terry Richardson and Carine Roitfield.

Although an unlikely transition, the two credit their athletic background as being key to their modelling success. In particular giving them a strong work ethic, dedication and a greater control over their body. It seems their work ethic has paid off as they have signed with IMG in New York, Sydney and Milan, won awards for GQ magazine and been invited in as mentors on Next Top Model Australia.

True models of the next generation, they have amassed a significant social media following. Particularly their instagram, that features more laid back causal photos of them. The journey does not stop here, the two recently returned from appearing in the 2020 New York Fashion Week and have launched their own lifestyle brand, Stenmark.life.
