AUSTRALIA’S NO. 1 YOUNG ADULT FICTION AUTHOR LYNETTE NONI DELIVERS HER HIGHLY ANTICIPATED FINAL BOOK IN “THE PRISON HEALER” TRILOGY.
Have you heard of Lynette Noni? Many book lovers around Australia – and now overseas – live and breath for her characters, plot twists, and original creative ideas.
Noni – The Woman Behind The Words
She is originally from a country town, however, traded her overalls for flip-flops by the beach. Located in Brisbane, she gets to create wonderfully vivid words while listening to the waves crash around her.
Besides being gifted with the ability to create epic fantasy worlds, she is also highly educated. Before becoming a best selling author, Noni studied Journalism and Human Behaviour.
Her second series release was a duology related to phycological abilities. Moreover, it is set in a similar environment to a mental asylum. The series “Whisper” could be a reflection of her education of Human Behaviour. The idea has not been officially addressed however, it would not surprise fans.
As an author, she wrote her first book in her early twenties. However, it was never meant to be shared publicly. Luckily, for her fans the time came when she wanted to share her creation with the world.
Noni’s Accolades
Over the past ten years, Noni has received credit for her work. Being known as Australia’s number one Young Adult Fiction writer, only being one of them. She is best selling author of her first series “The Medoran Chronicles”, as well as second best selling for her “Whisper” duology.
Furthermore, in 2019 she won the ABIA award for Small Publishers’ Children’s Book of the year. Additionally, in that year she won the Gold Inky Award, which is Australia’s only Teen Choice book award.
Her most recent series, “The Prison Healer” was her first to be released globally. I think we can all agree that being a creative professional in Australia is a hard task. Therefore, having this achievement under her belt is incredible.
