The brand new trailer for the third instalment of Marvel’s “Guardians Of The Galaxy” is finally available for fans. Since its release on YouTube this week, the official trailer has gained a staggering 20 million views in a short three days. A sure predictor for the success and anticipation the film is building within audiences around the world.
The final film of the Guardians of the Galaxy series is set several years after the events of the prequel. Still grieving the death of Gamora, Peter Quinn A.K.A Starlord must once again rally together his group of galactic heroes on another mission to defend the galaxy.
Huge Box Office Success
The synopsis reads, “Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill rallies his team to defend the universe and one of their own a mission that could mean the end of the Guardians if not successful.”
The trailer premiered initially at Comic-con Brazil and is set for a full theatre release in May 2023. The film is set to conclude the beloved series and will be a farewell to the much-beloved rag-tag group of space heroes. With five years since the release of the prequel, fans haven’t had to wait too long to see Peter Quill and his team however the hype around this new release is with good reason, as both the first and second instalments of the series achieved huge box office success with high critical acclaim amongst fans movie-critiques alike.
Director James Gunn took to Twitter earlier this year to reveal his thoughts on concluding the much-beloved series.
