For the very first time, Telfar fuses its iconic shopper bag with footwear brand Melissa. And the result? Signature jelly designs in a collaboration fit for the summer.
Introducing Telly Jelly, the perfect combination of the Brooklyn-based and Brazilian-based brands. The outcome is a line of fully transparent, lilac-tinted shopping bags and matching slides.
The shopper bags are reminiscent of Y2K fashion, their clear design allowing every buyer to show off their latest bag essentials. The structure of the bag follows similarly to that of Telfar’s most sought after shopper bags.
The bag is sturdy and and spacious, as well as offering two bag straps of different lengths for wearers who love the cross-body look or adore their bag to be swinging off their arm. And of course, the bag is not complete without Telfar’s distinguishable ‘T’ logo on the front.
The matching unisex slides are just as cute, following a similar tubular, jelly-like structure. The design features three rounded straps that secure the foot with a small heel. It’s the perfect Summer shoe, healing the wearer’s inner child by elevating the whimsical design.
The collaboration uses Melissa’s sustainable and recyclable ‘Melflex’ material. And the bags are arriving in small, medium, and large sizes. The prices range from $150 to $250 USD with the slides listed at $100 USD.
The collaboration is the perfect Summer accessory for beach days, festivals, and nights out thanks to the structured water-resistant PVC material.
Following from Telfar’s cult following from celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, and Beyoncé, the collaboration is definitely in the running for being one of the accessories of the Summer.
Ready to buy? The wait is almost over. The collaboration is set to drop exclusively on Telfar’s website on July 14th at 12PM ET before it releases at Melissa’s New York Galeria location and website on July 17th.
