It’s now Day 11 and Roberts is off to Paris France on the fabulous Eurostar bullet train, having done his time tracking the Footsteps of Phileas Fogg at the Reform club and his deep dive on the history of the British Empire. The Eurostar speeds through the English countryside at 300kph, under the Channel and across the French countryside to arrive in Paris in no time. Definitely beats flying or driving.
And there’s no better way to acclimatise to the new city and new country than by doing a deep dive into the fascinating history of Paris.
